MArch Architecture (ARB/RIBA part II)

Architecture of Exile
Forced into exile by oppressive regimes, artists like Vladimir Nabokov, Gabriel García Márquez or Ricardo Porro rebuilt images of lost homelands in their creative works. The project reunites the real and imaginary lives of these artists into a land of exile where architecture becomes an escapist fantasy. This fictive architecture of longing becomes tangible when one engages in domestic activities.
