Tower of Memento Mori

Our excessive mining activities are scarring landscapes all over the world. In turn, such landscapes are spitting out a new nature in the form of minerals encapsulating elements exploited by humans. By mapping these human-caused minerals onto the cityscape of Tokyo, the project creates a memento mori, a reminder and a relic of elements that we are mining into extinction.
