The Elephant in the Room: The Sri Lankan British Town
This project examines the evolution of domestic space, post-colonial identity and religious practice of the Sri Lankan Buddhist community in Enfield, North London. The research delves into the speculative design of a future Sri Lankan British community through an Ad-hocist approach. The project explores how the town begins to function to suit the festivities of the evolving community.
