BA (Hons) /HND
Our graduates have successfully engaged theoretical, critical and technical approaches through unique and diverse design practices, addressing the key questions, issues and processes of today. Through methods of looking, thinking and making, our students demonstrate the energy and breadth of contemporary graphic design and communication practice. As the creative landscape continues to rapidly evolve following the experiences of the past year, our Graduates embody adaptability, rigour and passion in engaging with new opportunities and collaborations.
In the BA (Hons) Animation programme, we focus on professionalism, and touch on academic theory and practice behind animation. This graduate show is different than the previous years. Most of the students' work has been produced remotely, and presented digitally. However, it does not lack quality. The projects are sophisticated, and up to professional standards. With all the disruptions that the pandemic caused, we learn how to find alternative methods. Check the student work below.
Our Postgraduate Show will take place online in autumn. Stay tuned for updates.
MA Design is an innovative multidisciplinary programme with two endorsements (MA Spatial Design, MA Design Diplomacy). We focus on ideas and practices that use methods such as co-design to explore how design diversity can empower practice and generate research in new and exciting ways.
This Master's in Design also questions whether our design processes can amplify, diversify, and mobilise people - critically engaging with its own processes of world building. We'll expand on current and future understanding of how to design inclusively from a variety of disciplines to answer crucial philosophical and practice-related questions.
You will be taught by an experienced team of lecturers, which includes senior academics, practitioners with industry experience and technical demonstrators.
At the School of Design, we are supporting creativity globally. This page will be updated shortly with some fantastic student work from our international partners. Stay tuned.
